meet mrs. Embry
I am so excited to begin my eighth year teaching, and my fourth year here at Goshen! Prior to coming to Goshen, I taught Kindergarten for four years at St. Michael in J-town. My first year at Goshen I taught Kindergarten, then moved to First Grade, and was very excited to return to Kindergarten last year. Goshen is such a special place and I am proud to be a GATOR!
I was born and raised here in Louisville, attended Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY for undergrad, and returned to Louisville to begin my teaching career after graduating from WKU. I have received my Master of Arts in Education from University of the Cumberlands, and I am currently working towards my National Boards teaching certificate in Early and Middle Childhood Literacy/Reading-Language Arts.
I have enjoyed every minute of my past 7 years in the classroom and I truly love how every day is different and exciting with these young kiddos. Teaching is my passion and I honestly can’t imagine doing anything else!
